Onsite Nursing

NorthWorks Occupational Health offers employers a worksite nurse program which can place an occupational health nurse onsite at your company part-time or full-time or on call, to help manage your company’s health, Workers’ Compensation and wellness programs.  Our NorthWorks team responds to your needs by providing integrated worksite nursing services and consultation.

Worksite Occupational Health Nursing Services may include:

 

  • Case management of work- and nonwork-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Early intervention for employees with non-severe musculoskeletal symptoms through observation of the workstation and work practices, and consultation with employees, supervisors, Safety and Human Resources representatives, where appropriate.
  • Health Education for individuals or groups of employees.
  • Corporate health and safety program promotion to increase overall awareness of health and safety issues in the workplace.
  • Resource for supervisors for information and recommendations related to health and safety in the worksite, including physical demands and potential exposures, office workstation ergonomic recommendations and stretching techniques.
